About me
Hello! Welcome and thank you for visiting my e-portfolio. I am an alumnus of the Illustrious Winston Salem State University searching for more experience in expanding the skills I have obtained during my years in the psychology undergraduate program and work-related experiences.
I have a passion for helping individuals specifically children. Since 2010, I have been an active volunteer and peer tutor within my community serving for underprivileged individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am a passionate and dedicated Youth Advisor/Learning and Development Specialist with over 14 years of experience in providing guidance and resources to help young people succeed in education, employment, and personal development. Skilled in developing and implementing youth development programs, evaluating program outcomes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Recognized for excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills. I enjoy spending time with my family, learning new projects and expanding my daycare, Junie's KidzChildcare.
In April 2020, when the pandemic was just beginning, I decided to expand and build on my passions and experience of working and interacting with children by creating a daycare that is open to all children of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Majority of the children enrolled at Junie's KidzChildcare are children who suffers from developmental disabilities such as autism. Junie's KidzChildcare is a safe haven filled with fun , cognitive, and interactive activities.
